Graham Joyce

Graham is the man behind Dartmoor Tree Surgeons. He set up the company in 1987 after completing his BSc Hons at University College, London. After years on the tools himself he has now hung up his harness and saw and opted to continue his career as an expert arboricultural consultant alongside running the day to day elements of the company.
Anthony Arrow
Cert Arb L4 (ABC), Cert Arb RFS - Contracts Manager
Anthony joined the company in 2012 having worked as a self-employed sub-contractor for us in previous years. A highly experienced climber with great man management skills, he has become a real asset to the company.
Sam Titchard
Arborist & Team Leader
Sam joined our team in January of 2016 as a newly qualified tree surgeon and has now gained considerable experience, becoming a team leader and showing great leadership skills. His many years as a mechanic have made him invaluable to the company.
Stuart ankers
Arborist & Team Leader
Stu first joined the team as a part-timer in the yard; four years later he has not only become a fully qualified tree surgeon but also one of our two team leaders! With his calm demeanour and high level of knowledge he often acts as an on-site mentor to our apprentices and students.
SHAUN HILTON
Arborist
Having begun his apprenticeship in January 2022, Shaun is learning the ropes (literally and metaphorically) and getting to grips with tree surgery. He’s already proved himself to be a great help on site, and we can’t wait to see how he continues to develop!
rosa joyce
Office Manager
A familiar face but a recent addition, Graham’s eldest daughter Rosa joined the office team in September 2021, making it a real family business! Along with Sue and Anthony, Rosa deals with the back of house administration, as well as managing the marketing and social media for the business.
Sue Elms
Finance
Sue has been with us since 2005 and deals with all the financial aspects of the business. Her infallible cheer makes the office a charming place to work, and her black belt in karate certainly keeps everyone in line!
