LOLER Inspections

The Loler (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998) have now been in force for over a decade. As Arboricultural Association Approved Contractors with over twenty years' experience we have seen techniques and equipment change dramatically over that period. Our three experienced and NPTC accredited Loler Inspectors are also working arborists familiar with the full range of modern arboricultural equipment. We know what it's like trying to keep up to date with all the current legislation whilst attempting to earn a living at the same time. We can help ensure your Loler compliance and save you time and money by:

• Drawing up Loler spreadsheets and systems for data collection and showing you what information you should be recording for each item of kit so as to reduce the workload at the next inspection;
• Giving you advice on how to maintain, store and use your kit so as to prolong its working life, and showing you how accurate data collection may enable an extension of the working life of some items;
• Re-inspecting your kit on a six monthly (PPE) or yearly (lowering equipment) basis;
• Providing our Loler reports as hard copy or electronic format, or available as a download from our website.

We are happy to deal with individual climbing kits or larger quantities of equipment.

We have a purpose built facility at our yard in Woodbury for inspecting all arboricultural lifting equipment (with the exception of winches - these are covered under separate legislation) or we can come to you.
