We consult with all our employees on a regular basis to ensure that we are working in a safe and efficient manner, and we regularly invest in the latest technologies and equipment to encourage the safest possible working environment for all involved whilst simultaneously enabling us to provide the most efficient service to our clients. Our health and safety standards are regularly scrutinised as required by The Arboricultural Association and CHAS.

Although not a comprehensive list, the below are some examples of the key health & safety procedures we follow on - if you have any queries or would like any further clarification please don’t hesitate to get in touch!

  • We undertake regular LOLER inspections on all relevant equipment

  • Each job is risk assessed initially by our contracts manager and is then assessed again on the day by the tree surgery team

  • All staff are fully trained in first aid with an additional forestry level

  • All climbers are trained in aerial rescue and each team with a climber will have at least one team member on the ground who can perform an aerial rescue if necessary

  • Staff only use equipment and plant which they have been certified to use

  • Our equipment is maintained to a high standard to help prevent accidents from happening

  • We are fully compliant with the RIDDOR procedure

  • Our staff are encouraged to let us know if they have any safety concerns, for example with respect to weather conditions or pedestrian access to a site
